Hi, Leute!
Ich soll einen Brief an Leute schreiben, die ein Buch in die offizielle Liste der Schulbücher aufnehmen sollen.
Adresse etc. kann vernachlässigt werden.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you to recommend the book 'Big Mouth & Ugly Girl' by Joyce Carol Oates for school, because this book is about teenagers coping with emotions. First they have problems showig their emotions and at the end they slowly start showing them. So it suits the curriculum very well, that says, that the topic 'coping with emotions' has to be covered. Since it is also not difficult to read it would be a good choice to put it on the official school book list.

Ich würde dies anders schreiben:
In the beginning they have problems in showing their emotions and in the end apparently some emotions reveal.

Diesen Satz versteh ich so nicht. Wenn ich ihn richtig deute würde ich folgendes schreiben:
Moreover the book is plain so everyone is able to understand and read it. That is why it would be a good choice to take the book in the official school book list.
Ich denke der Rest geht so...

Weil du das gedachte Komma falsch gesetzt hast, habs auch erst falsch gelesen ;)
