| Aufgabe | Ich muss in Englisch einen 5 min Vortrag über L.A. halten, bin mir leider mit den Formulierungen auf Englisch nicht sicher.
Es wäre sehr nett wenn mir jemand helfen könnte. |
Ich habe diese Frage in keinem Forum auf anderen Internetseiten gestellt.
Ich möchte heute über die Stadt Los Angeles berichten und einige Sehenswürdigkeiten präsentieren.
Today I would like to talk about the city of Los Angeles and present some places of interest.
Los Angeles ist eine der berühmtesten Städte dieser Welt.
Los Angeles is one of the most famous towns/city in the world..
Los Angeles ist eine Stadt im Westen der USA und liegt direkt am Pazifik.
Los Angeles is a town in the west of the USA and is located on the Pacific
Sie ist die zweitgrößte Stadt in den USA, New York ist die größte.
It is the second largest city in the USA, New York is the biggest one.
Sie liegt im Bundesstaat Kalifornien und ist dort die größte Stadt.
It lies in the federal state California and is there the biggest town.
Die Kurzbezeichnung für Los Angeles ist L.A.
The short name for Los Angeles is L.A.
L.A. hat 3,8 Millionen Einwohner.
The population is 3.8 million.
Die längste Straße ist 100 km lang. L.A ist ungefähr 80 Km breit.
The longest street is 100 km long. L.A is about 80 km wide.
In L.A. gibt es sehr viel zu sehen.
In L.A. there is to see a lot.
Nun möchte ich über einige Sehenswürdigkeiten reden.

Außerdem befindet sich in Downtown Chinatown.

Dies erkennt man an den Chinesischen Tempeln, Chinesischen Geschäften und Restaurants.

Das Hollywood Sign ist der bekannte Schriftzug in den Hollywood Hills.

Die Buchstaben sind etwa 15 Meter hoch und zusammen 137 Meter lang.

Die bekannteste Straße in Hollywood ist der Hollywood Boulevard.

Ein Teil dieser Straße ist der “Walk of Fame”.

Auf diesem Weg wurden zahlreiche Stars mit einem Stern geehrt.

Eine weitere Sehenswürdigkeit in Hollywood ist das Mann's Chinese Theatre.

Dies ist ein Kino.

Am Eingang kann man über 200 Fußabdrucke und Handabdrucke von Prominenten sehen.

Jedes Jahr Im März wird in Hollywood der Oscar der Filmindustrie verliehen.
In March each year is awarded the Oscar in Hollywood, the film industry.
Diese Veranstaltung findet im Kodak Theatre am Hollywood Boulevard statt.

Die Universal Studios
Eine weitere Attraktion in Hollywood sind die Universal Studios
Die Universal Studios sind eines der ältesten und größten Filmstudios der Welt.
Dies ist heute ein großer Vergnügungspark mit vielen Möglichkeiten, sich einen ganzen Tag unterhalten zu lassen.

Hallo beny,
willkommen hier bei der Vorhilfe. Dein Text ist schon recht gut, mitunter ist die Wortwahl etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber ansonsten nicht schlecht. Wo Du noch etwas üben kannst, das ist auch Gewöhnungssache, das sind die englischen Präpositionen (at, on, near, by etc.)
Der Einfachheit halber habe ich meine Vorschläge etc. in Deinen Text eingebaut.
